Financial Reporting Senior Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION This role will support Financial Planning & Analysis for Inspire Company Owned Restaurants, provide support to restaurant operations, and implement analytic and visualization tools for brand reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain brand reporting and metrics for Inspire Company Owned Restaurants.
  • Perform variances analysis, offering comprehensive explanations of key drivers. Provide critical insights and actionable recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Prepare insightful and action-oriented presentation materials for executives and management. Present key findings in review meetings.
  • Support annual budget and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Partner with assigned business functions to capture and manage their requests effectively. Clearly communicate the outcomes of these processes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of business partner relationships for Inspire Company Owned Restaurants and provide critical FP&A support to these teams.
  • Function as a true business partner, addressing ad hoc requests and ensuring the success of these teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various functions, including accounting, corporate finance, lease administration, construction, and restaurant operations.
  • Support the design and implementation of new data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Consistently identify and propose enhancements for day-to-day operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-year Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • 4+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or similar role.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES

  • Effective communication skills; including presenting to cross-functional teams and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong record as a proven collaborator.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task projects with competing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with large data sets and creating reporting.
  • The ability to effectively mine data and draw relevant results on business performance.
  • Self-starter and problem solver with strong business acumen and ability to anticipate issues and think through creative solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence analysis and presentation tools, including Tableau and Power BI preferred.
  • Experience with Enterprise Planning and Reporting software such as Hyperion, ePBCS, and SmartView preferred.
