PR Account Executive — CGPR

CGPR, a division of the Off Madison Ave family, is a dynamic public relations agency with over three decades of expertise in the consumer active lifestyle category, with a rich history in the outdoor industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior leadership on major accounts, ensuring seamless execution of client initiatives.
  • Take the lead on day-to-day client work, including drafting press materials, developing campaigns, and managing deliverables.
  • Drive media relations efforts : pitch stories, build relationships with journalists, secure coverage, and track results.
  • Draft strategic PR plans, meeting agendas, and client reports that demonstrate creativity, strategy, and measurable outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and interns, ensuring quality work and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of public relations agency experience; experience in consumer, outdoor, and B2B sectors is required.
  • Demonstrated success in media outreach and building strong media relationships.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.
