FINANCIAL ANALYST - Global Technology Company in Duluth, GA
My client, a global technology company in Duluth, GA, is looking to add a Financial Analyst to their team. This role is open due to growth within the organization and will play a pivotal part in driving informed decision-making by conducting detailed financial analysis and reporting.
The Financial Analyst will work cross-functionally with various departments to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights that align with our strategic objectives.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to operational performance and profitability
- Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying discrepancies and suggesting corrective actions
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
- Evaluate investment opportunities and conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making
- Maintain financial databases and reporting tools to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Stay abreast of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the business
- Utilize skills in Budget Processes, Financial Analysis, Financial Planning, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A), Financial Modeling, Microsoft Excel, and Sage 100 to effectively perform duties.
- Possess a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field of study.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and planning, including the ability to create and execute budget processes.
- Extensive knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP& A) principles.
- Demonstrable experience in financial modeling, with the ability to create and interpret complex financial models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and use advanced formulas.
- Experience with Sage 100 or similar financial management software.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
