Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric Emergency
Location : Houston, TX
Shift : 3 : 00 PM - 3 : 00 AM, 12-hour shifts
Job Description :
As an RN in the Pediatric Emergency Center will provide expert care for pediatric patients experiencing a wide range of acute and critical conditions.
You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and implementing care plans for pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
The role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to respond swiftly to emergency situations in pediatric care.
Responsibilities :
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the Emergency Center.
- Triage, assess, and implement care plans in a fast-paced emergency environment.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Use Epic EMR to document care plans and patient information.
Requirements : Experience :
Experience :
- 2+ years of experience in Pediatric Emergency Care (Peds ER).
- Experience in Pediatric Critical Care Preferred.
- Experience in general ER Preferred.
Certifications :
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Preferred.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Preferred.
