Job Description :

Currently, we’re hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school in Rockwall, Texas. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an SLP.

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details :

• $49 - $51 an hour
• First sememster 2024-2025 School Year
• Bonus : $3,000 Assignment Bonus for new SHC employees with CCC's
• Hours per week : Full-time. 37.5 hours / week
• Start Date : August 2024
• End Date : December 13, 2024
• Location : In-Person
• Details : Full time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist CCC to cover three short term leaves back to back. Dates may vary.

District uses Frontline documentation system

• Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements :

• Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
• Texas SLP License
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification
