Job Description

Infrastructure Platforms (IP) is comprised of passionate and skilled technologists who develop and deliver a variety of high-quality hosting and cloud solutions to our customers - the JPMC businesses - including, compute, network, storage, identity management, public cloud enablement and more.

The JPMC Infrastructure Platforms (IP) Business Intelligence & Analytics Team delivers capabilities to support data driven decision making, uncover actionable business insights for process and operational improvements, and provide the metrics and trending necessary for disciplined business reviews and governance.

You will own solutions end-to-end from business objectives to detailed requirements to data sourcing and modeling, and finally to fit for purpose analytic solutions.

Key responsibilities will include :

Job responsibilities :

• Developing data solutions to support business and management reviews and decision forums
• Structuring analytics to identify potential opportunities for enterprise change and improvement
• Leveraging data visualization and data transformation tools to build impactful dashboards for leadership and IP stakeholders
• Working with stakeholders and subject matter experts on requirements for key business metrics, data sourcing, visualization, and publishing
• Drive workstreams to deliver reporting and data automation
• Independently managing multiple efforts simultaneously across a range of domains
• Communicating recommendations and status updates to impacted stakeholders ensuring that BI and data needs are being met

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field consulting with a heavy emphasis on quantitative analysis
• Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, including experience with data extraction, modeling, and interpretation to support strategic decision-making
• Advanced data visualization capabilities, with hands-on experience in implementing and managing BI dashboards
• Experience in data querying using SQL API, ODBS connections, Access DB and Excel
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, charting, macros, calculations)
• Strong experience Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with infrastructure and cloud technology a plus, e.g., datacenter compute, storage, database, network, mainframe, middleware a plus
• Strong creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to set goals, prioritize and manage across complex workstreams, and drive thinking and progress proactively and independently
• Having ambiguity, including the application of skills within new and unfamiliar domains
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including ability to boil down complex / technical concept
