Our Client is seeking outgoing, energetic, and dedicated contract LPNs to work in a school setting during the 2024-25 school year as a 1 : 1 or Health Office.
Hours will vary but are set during the normal school day.
CLIENT'S HOURLY RATE
$37-$40 per / hr. depending on experience, education, availability, and skills of independent contractor.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Provide safe 1 : 1 skilled care or Health Office Services in the school setting, adhering to nursing standards.
- Locations available throughout the city.
- Administer medications as ordered by licensed subscriber and assist with management of special health care needs.
- Accompany students to and from school on the bus to provide medical needs.
- Ensures ongoing communication with care providers and appropriate school staff as well as proper documentation of daily care of the student.
- Maintains professional knowledge through ongoing educational opportunities.
- Observe the physical and mental development of students.
- Administer medications as ordered by licensed subscriber and assist with management of special health care needs.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- LPN licensing
- Pediatric Experience
- CPR completed from an in-person course
- Covid Vaccinated
- Experience with feeding tubes, tracheostomy care, etc. preferred.
