Overview

Atrium Health University City is a community-based facility with 9 Operating Rooms. We are located on North Tryon, next to the UNCC Campus.

We offer self-scheduling with convenient shifts and limited on call hours. This facility is not a trauma center, but offers many specialty service lines including Orthopedics, Robotic, General, Urology and Gynecology procedures.

We are the only Atrium facility that has earned the AORN Go Clear designation, for maintaining a smoke-free facility by managing surgical smoke plume.

The team is a small, close-knit team and we participate in potlucks, and enjoy one another's company. We are a smaller Atrium OR and have a wonderful group of surgeons who are extremely collaborative and work well with all members of our team.
