About the Role
EGlobalTech, a Tetra Tech Company, is looking for a IT Security Consultant with an active Top Secret Clearance to join our Cyber Solutions Practice in Washington, DC (hybrid role) and support a federal customer located in Washington, DC.
Qualified candidates should have experience in technical and procedural life-cycle support for the writing and editing of small and large documents of any type to meet contract requirements.
The candidate needs to have excellent communication and English writing skills and possess an active Top Secret w / SCI clearance.

Responsibilities
- Handle daily operational tasks for the IT Security Operations Team (Account requests, entry / exit requests, file transfers, decommissioning / sanitization guidance, and provide daily guidance as needed.
- Support the Government in the fulfillment of all IT security training requirements for all users.
- Provide programmatic and administrative support for personnel performing security training tasks including :
- Security Awareness Training
- Removable Media
- Specialized Training
- Assist the team with identifying, monitoring, and reporting IT security incidents and associated response and handling activities.
- Prepares milestone status reports and deliveries / presentations on daily IT Security activities to colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives.
- Assist in maintaining a comprehensive record of all incidents and remediation activities in accordance with Government policies and procedures.
- Record IT security incident and handling information in a structured database or tool.
- Submit a weekly and a quarterly report containing statistics and metrics concerning user training statuses.
- Update training materials each year.
- Review waivers, Rules of Behavior, and training certificates and provide guidance as needed to all customers.
- Develop / update classroom IT security training materials, subject to approval by the Government, and provide logistical and administrative support (e.
g., registration, number of classes needed, printing certificates, printing materials) for Government personnel to provide on-site training for approximately 2-3 classes per year.
- Develop, track, and report training metrics.
- Develop briefing materials to communicate complex technical issues with senior leadership and other nontechnical audiences that effectively highlight IT security policy and legal considerations for discussion, decision, etc.
- Produce / update IT security tips and disseminate them to users upon Government approval.
- Prepare and issue surveys to solicit user and stakeholder feedback on the utility and effectiveness of IT security capabilities and analyze survey results to recommend changes for Government approval.
Required Qualifications
- At least four years of experience developing, writing, editing and assembling technical reports or procedures documents.
- At least three years of experience with integrated Windows Office software.
- At least three years of experience using structured documentation techniques or other industry-wide documentation techniques.
- At least two years of experience creating and maintaining project plans, if required.
- Active Top Secret w / SCI clearance required
- This position requires a badge and or clearance the requires an extensive background, credit, and drug screening check.
