What part will you play?
The Senior Program Manager is the single point of responsibility and accountability for assigned Audio Visual projects being conducted within the framework of the larger program.
The Program Manager will provide strategic guidance to Audio Visual project team that will promote the company's culture, enhance the client relationship, and drive revenue growth.
Understanding where all Audio-Visual projects stand throughout the project lifecycle as well as leading project managers to complete the projects per As-Sold Scope, Cost and Schedule is a major component of this role.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines and driving best practice standards to produce results in a timely manner.
They will also develop efficient strategies and tactics to uphold client goals and objectives. The Program Manager must coordinate all resources required for each initiative, to ensure satisfactory performance.
What will you be doing?
- Single point-of-contact for assigned program(s)
- Provides cross region and / or specialty coordination and ensures consistent delivery processes for strategic programs.
- Responsible for the financial performance of each project within assigned program(s).
- Responsible for Project / Program Change & Financial Management - Drives profitability to reinvest by executing projects as scoped within their as as-sold margins.
- Sets and enforces standards for all client-facing communications. Ensures clear and timely communication among internal and external stakeholders, continually manage expectations throughout the program lifecycle.
- Provides weekly program status updates to internal leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Forward thinking, looks ahead, proactively identifies, evaluates & addresses risks and issues that could impact the program's success throughout the program lifecycle.
Drives consistency and standards with the PMs for risk and issue management across the assigned program(s)).
- Provides escalation single point of contact for project managers and the client.Expected to provide management with immediate notification of potentially critical situations that put the project or program at risk.
- Supports the development, and auditing, of project plans, including schedules & associated resource plans, to ensure consistent outcomes.
Inspects what we expect for Project Management best practices and standards.
- Oversees and ensuring the project management quality (according to the Diversified standards), and ensures cross-functional QA / QC checkpoints for deliverables occur on-time, across the program(s) / portfolio.
- Provides coaching and mentoring on Diversified and client-specific standards and best practices, to raise maturity and quality in project management, across the team and / or programs(s).
- Provides program level support to the sales process to maintain visibility on probability strategic opportunities in the pipeline.
- Forecasts work, including resources allocation and logistic planning. Ensures requirements are communicated early to coordinate fulfilment in a timely manner, resource utilization is optimized and efficient.
- Ensures adequate resources are budgeted in the development of opportunities, while maintaining workload balance of team members.
- Supports quarterly business reviews with the client to report on progress and performance of the program / contract.
- Handles other duties relative to the job as assigned by management. Participates in corporate and PMO improvement initiatives, as needed.
- Ensure and achieve the highest level of customer service for all projects within assigned program.
- Tracks and reports all pending program opportunities and open initiatives. Provides frequent program level reporting to internal leadership team and the customer through program dashboards.
- Be passionate about success by setting clear strategic objectives for your program. Creating and aligning program objectives with organizational goals.
Complexity :
Within a program, every project is different, and every stakeholder is unique. The Program Manager needs to navigate a very complex set of variables including continuity of system designs, global project teams, overall performance quality, and a widely varying set of expectations with multiple stakeholders to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
The skill of communicating both verbally and in writing to manage all these variables takes a very high level of awareness, emotional intelligence, and people management skills.
An ideal candidate would feel comfortable negotiating contracts and deliverables with both clients, internal stakeholders and subcontractors and partners within Diversified.

What do we require from you?
Education / Certifications :
- CAPM and / or PMP Preferred
- AVIXA essentials of AV Technology, Project Management for AV & CTS desired
Required / Knowledge, Experience, and Skills :
- 10-15+ years hands-on Program Management or PMO Leadership. Audio Visual (or IT) Program Management experience preferred.
- Experience with managing Audio Visual (or IT) vendor relationships with Construction Management Companies, General Contractors, Consultants and Architects is required.
- Proficient with computers and current business software applications within MS Office, especially MS Project & Excel.

Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience depending on the position offered, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
