Opportunity for a full time Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner in Phoenix, AZ. The NP is responsible for providingcomprehensive primary health care services through the identification,management and / or referral of the health problems and the maintenance of theclient’s health by means of preventive care and health promotion.
Requirements :
- Graduate from an approved Nurse Practitionerschool
- Nurse Practitioner certificate issued by theArizona Board of Nursing
- Valid Arizona Registered Nurse license
- Valid Arizona Advanced Practice license
- Valid DEA certificate
- Current BLS
- Experience treating adults with chronic andacute conditions
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical methodsand techniques
- Ability to meet and deal effectively withclients, associates, and the general public
- Basic business English, spelling, andpunctuation skills
- Basic computer efficiency
- Valid AZ driver’s license
- Competency in dealing with people of variouscultures and social status
- Certification to perform cardiopulmonaryResuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through coursesthat follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross(cognitive and skills evaluations)
- Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Cardissued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioralhealth locations
