Assembler

Job Description

In this role, assemblers can be expected to work off of a material list to gather the correct materials, use blueprints / assembly drawings to correctly put together products, pick and pack supplies, and perform repair operations.

This is a fast-paced setting where candidates will be responsible for gathering materials, assembling products, performing tests, and inspections.

This is consistent across all departments.

Assembly : Candidates will be cross-trained across three different sections on the assembly line :

1) Retrieving the product off of the conveyor belt, and inserting / adjusting the lining within the product

2) Assembling handles / pins and inserting them on the product

3) Inserting foam into the product, packaging the product, and preparing it for shipment.

Candidates will rotate between these three sections, so it is not a repetitive role throughout the entire day.

Assembly : Candidates will have an assigned bench. Their role will consist of :

1) Gathering proper materials to set up an assembly off of a conveyor

2) Using tools, reviewing prints, and measuring with a tape measure

3) Ensuring that specs are followed and performing tests on the product

We are currently hiring assemblers on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts :

1st Shift : 6 : 00am - 2 : 00pm (M-F)

2nd Shift : 2 : 00pm-10 : 00pm (M-F)

3rd Shift : 10 : 00pm-6 : 00am (S-T)

Hard Skills

• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in South Deerfield, Massachusetts.
