Introduction : PMCS Group, working in partnership with Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) , is seeking a highly qualified Engineer V for the Building Engineering Unit (BEU) within LAWA's Planning & Development Division (PDD).
Be part of a dedicated team of over 40 planners, architects, engineers, and technical professionals driving the next wave of capital investments, including airfield, terminal, and infrastructure improvements.

Key Qualifications :
- Extensive experience in the planning, design, procurement, construction, and activation of major capital programs, preferably at transportation hubs such as airports.
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement , particularly with electrical utility providers like LADWP and authorities like LADBS.
- Deep knowledge of large utility and infrastructure programs , especially electrical generation, transmission, distribution, and customer services in the Los Angeles area.
- Proven ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication skills in collaborative settings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with LAWA and LADWP personnel to plan, design, construct, and manage electrical infrastructure at LAX.
- Evaluate historical and current electrical demands and forecast future needs.
- Review technical documents (design, construction, RFIs, change requests) from designers, contractors, and project managers.
- Participate in coordination meetings with LAWA and LADWP leadership.
- Develop technical reports advising on innovative technologies to enhance the resiliency, sustainability, and efficiency of electrical systems.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team in a collaborative environment.
- Innovate and improve processes by developing tools, templates, and standards.
Desired Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 20+ years of professional experience, with a focus on large electrical infrastructure programs and involvement from LADWP.
