Floating Requirement : - May float to ED or MS if experiencedRequired certifications : - ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate or advanced Fetal Monitoring Required# of beds - - 7 L&D beds- 2 Triage beds- 10 Postpartum beds- 1-3 births per day- 830 births per yearRatios typically 1 : 2Exp or Must have skills - 2 years of experience required- Call : one shift per 4 week schedule- OB / Neonatologist not in house- 24 / 7 pharmacy in house- Must be proficient in fetal monitoring.

Since there is NOT an in-house OB, so the nurses need to be very proficient with their assessment skills and be able to handle OB emergencies until the provider arrives
