About the Role :
As an Administrative Program Assistant at SARC, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the entire agency.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Assist the Administration Department with the following duties :
- Answering phones and routing calls from reception desk / Call Center.
- Assisting with daily bank deposits and picking up mail from post office.
- Greets, assists and directs clients, employees, candidates, vendors and visitors.
- Ability to manage multi-line phones in a friendly, professional manner, directs calls to appropriate party.
- Maintain security by monitoring log book, notifying company personnel of visitor arrivals, etc.
- Open, stamp, route, file, etc. all incoming mail and information in accordance with office procedures.
- Assist with conference and training room technology setup and support.
- Monitor general appearance of building (lighting, landscaping, and snow removal) and bring any concerns to supervisor’s attention.
- Assist with data input and perform integrity checks
- Performs data entry, updating / correcting data and running monthly reports.
- Assist with producing letters through a mail-merge from the database.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Schedule :
Part-time with the following schedule :
- Mon 11 : 30am 4 : 30pm
- Tue 1pm-6pm
- Wed 11 : 30am 4 : 30pm
- Thu 1pm-6pm
- Fri 11 : 30am 4 : 30pm
Salary : $17.00 / hour

Requirements
Necessary Skills :
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 to include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Excellent writing, editing, and grammatical skills.
Requirements for Consideration :
- A valid driver's license
- High School Diploma
Preferred Experience :
At least 1 year in an administrative support position.

Requirements
Necessary Skills : Desire to gain experience working with victims / survivors of domestic violence. Attention to detail, emotional maturity, flexibility, and ability to work independently.
Physical ability to climb steps and lift occasional bulky items. Requirements for Consideration : A valid driver's license.
Preferred Experience : At least 1 year in crisis intervention.
