Do you hold a BS degree in Engineering with 7 plus years’ experience in managing projects through various stages, overseeing engineering consultants and contracts, developing solutions for water, wastewater and / or stormwater permitting, and accepting increasing responsibilities? Lycoming County Water and Sewer Authority, an independent operating water, wastewater, stormwater authority owning, operating, and managing multiple permits and facilities across Lycoming County, is accepting applications for an Engineering Project Manager. This position is a full-time salaried position responsible for independently completing, directing and managing the activities related to engineering, design, project / construction management, capital planning and asset management. Essential duties : Manages projects from inception through completion Directs and oversees consulting engineers and contracts Serves as a point of contact for developers Develops cost estimates for projects Administers MS4 Program requirements Coordinates with management and staff to develop Capital Plan Serves as a technical resource / advisor for the organization The successful candidate must a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a directly related field and / or a combination of education and experience to provide the required knowledge / skills, demonstrate the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate, assign, evaluate, complete and independently manage their work, coordinate multiple facets of projects and multiple projects at the same time, and direct and oversee contractors and outside consultants. Excellent computer and software skills with a focus on advanced Excel knowledge is required. Utility experience is a plus! Successful candidate must be professional in dealing with customers / contractors / developers, have excellent verbal and written communications skills, and be team oriented. The position requires a background check, drug testing and a valid driver's license. Salary range is $80,000 - $105,000 and is dependent on education, progressive successful work history, proven reliability in managing higher level responsibilities, supervisory / team building skills, and strategic planning & business management experience.
