Electronic Warfare, IT, and Software Project Manager, Senior
The Opportunity :
As a Senior IT and Software Project and Program Manager, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to integrating DoD and commercial technologies that enable joint, coalition, multinational, and bilateral training in a blended live and synthetic mission rehearsal environment.
We’re looking for a technical PM who can use their expertise to create open and automated architectures that are sustainable, scalable, extensible, and adaptable to support a large variety of warfighter training use cases.
At Booz Allen, you’ll use your diverse expertise to transform warfighter mission rehearsals for large-scale military operations against pacing threats .
Our team designs systems, develop and integrate software, and integrate DoD and commercial data transport, including DoD training networks, 5G, StarLink, or MILSATCOM.
We integrate best-of-breed capabilities from industry and service LVC programs, including Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE), Live Mission Operations Capability (LMOC), Synthetic Training Environment (STE), Joint LVC and Joint Training Tools (JTT), and other programs.
We enhance simulations with classified threat databases derived from validated source intel data. We innovate low cost, modular, adaptable, and extensible training solutions to enhance live training environments.
We deploy cyber security and IT solutions to support multiple levels of security across numerous networks and systems. We install instrumentation for water, land, and air ranges.
We develop enhanced user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) and apply a variety of techniques and technologies, including immersive environments.
We develop enhancements to mission planning and debriefing, including immersive wargaming, data analytics engines for individual and aggregated feedback, software plug-ins, and intuitive system operator displays.
That’s why we need you, an experienced IT and software development PM who specializes in digital engineering and MBSE, testing systems, planning joint large-scale exercises and mission rehearsals, military aviation, and electronic warfare to help us design and develop a world-class LVC environment.
On our team, you’ll lead teams of engineers in testing equipment and software to establish production and operating controls.
You’ll ensure deliveries meet cost, schedule, performance, risk, and resource requirements. You’ll impact warfighter's training by enabling interactions between live and synthetic entities.
We’ll look to you to share your digital engineering expertise through leadership and guiding the team through a rigorous delivery schedule.
You’ll apply systems engineering rigor in planning system delivery from design to acceptance testing while upholding industry best practices.
As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to develop solutions to help your customers meet their toughest needs.

You Have :
Experience with project and program management of technical teams, including military aviation, weapons development and testing, software development teams, and model-based system engineering
Experience with exercise planning and operations and military aviation
Knowledge of LVC environments, including military training simulations
Ability to develop system level test plans, manage subcontractors, and lead technical teams
Ability to travel internationally for up to 10% of the time
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, IT, computer science, or technical field
Nice If You Have :
Experience with aviation in SOF, bomber, fighter, or EW aircraft
Knowledge of Coalition and Multinational LVC, Joint LVC, NCTE, ADVTE, LMOC, and distributed mission operations networks
Ability to perform major weapons system testing
Master’s degree in EE or Systems Engineering
Clearance :

Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
