Pediatrix is seeking an additional NNP to join our outstanding group of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at our Macon, Georgia practice.

New Children's Hospital 2019 Level-III NICU and a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence!

Job Description :

• Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children s Hospital, located in Macon, Georgia is the only dedicated pediatric hospital in central and south Georgia.
• Variable shifts including 10 hour days M-TH, 8 hour shifts on weekends, and 1 NNP who covers 16-hour nights 4 days per week. No call.
• Our practice consists of the 66-bed, state-of-the-art, Level-III NICU
• Services provided include : high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide and a brain cooling
• Readily available subspecialty support
• Exceptional coverage by experienced NNPs
• Clinical appointment to Mercer Medical School
• Atrium Health Navicent is a designated Level-I trauma center, one of six designated perinatal / neonatal regional centers in Georgia and three-time Magnet Designated hospital for nursing excellence nationwide
• Opened new 50,000 square foot neonatal intensive care unit : Beverly Knight Olson Children s Hospital in the first quarter of 2019 : Children's Hospital Atrium Health Navicent Macon, GA (childrenshospitalnh.org)
• Candidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
• Not accepting new graduate candidates - Current 2+ years of employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience) is required.

Requirement description :

• Master's Degree and / or Doctorate in Nursing - REQUIRED
• APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications) (by time of start) - REQUIRED
• GA license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• 2+ years of current experience as NNP (not including RN experience) - REQUIRED
