The team leverages advanced diagnostic technology, including an integrated Topcon autorefractor / topographer with a digital phoropter, optical coherence tomography, fundus photos, and Zeiss FDT.

About the Optometrist Opening

Otay Ranch Eyeworks is seeking a well-roundedOptometristpassionate about providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health.

You'll practice full-scope optometryand promote good eye health and the importance of annual eye exams through patient education.

The position is 40 hours weekly with some weekend work approximately 16 to 18 patients are cared for daily. The practice is looking for a friendly team play who enjoys working with patients and discussing prescribed lenses based on their occupation and lifestyle.

A candidate experienced in scleral contact lenses, dry eye, and the ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients will be an asset to the team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with like-minded peers and collaborate with other Optometrists in the community through social events.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety.

The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctorsand be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

Minimum qualifications include :

Optometry license in the state of California

Preferred qualifications include :

Contact lens fitting

Dry eye experience
