Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in Santa Rosa, CA
Job Description : An exciting full-time opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is ideal for an SLP who is eager to work in a dynamic school setting, providing speech therapy services that help students enhance their communication abilities and achieve academic success.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Design and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for students, ensuring effective and personalized interventions.
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide holistic support to students.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and adapt therapy strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid California SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
