job_description.job_card.job_descriptionEvaluates and treats patients with acute, chronic complaints and health maintenance concerns related to specialty Obtains complete histories and performs pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new and return patients Orders and collects specimens for routine laboratory tests, screening procedures and therapeutic procedures, including blood and blood products. Facilitates collaboration between providers and coordination of community resources Participates in Quality improvement initiatives Provides and coordinates patient teaching and counseling. Orders physical therapy, occupational therapy respiratory therapy, radiology examinations and nursing services Provide comprehensive care for patients with osteoporosis and fragility fractures Prescribe and monitor injectable osteoporosis treatments and infusions Demonstrate expertise in spine, and orthopedic care, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Exhibit strong communication skills and a commitment to patient education and advocacy.
