Pharmacy Technician
Wheatfield, NY. Summit Park Pharmacy. Pharmacy Technician. PT. $17.00- $21.00 / Hour.Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team! We are hiring a part-time position (up to 31 hours / week) with starting salary commensurate with experience.
Our store hours are Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 : 30 pm and Saturday 10 am to 2 pm. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in filling and dispensing medications, managing inventory, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties : Assist a licensed pharmacist, as directed, in preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing of valid prescriptions.
Communicate with patients, facilities, payors, and prescribers regarding prescriptions. Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.Skills : Proficiency in customer service and patient care. Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures.
Experience with comingling adherence packaging. Ability to preparing medications with precision. Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
