We're looking for someone to join our team as a Retail Pharmacy Manager (Pharmacist in Charge) who :

The Pharmacist in Charge will be directly responsible for the management and oversight of the retail pharmacy or pharmacies’ operations and staff.

Services to be managed include inventory procurement, information technology, revenue cycle management, controlled substance distribution systems and provision of ambulatory pharmacy services to all outpatients (CSV patients, CSV employees, and possibly non-CSV patients).

Essential Functions :

• Performs all functions of a Staff Pharmacist and acts as a role model for the pharmacy team.
• Oversee the daily activities of the Pharmacy department.
• Handle and resolve customer issues, complaints, and questions to build customer trust and loyalty.
• Maintaining that pharmacy and all pharmacy personnel comply with all Federal and State statutes, rules and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
• Maintaining the prescription area in an orderly and sanitary manner.
• Ensure that security of the prescription area and its contents are maintained at all times, including the restriction of persons unauthorized by the pharmacist on duty from being present in the prescription area while the pharmacist is temporarily absent but within the premises and the reporting of any thefts and / or diversions of controlled substances are reported upon discovery to the Office of Drug Control and the Drug Enforcement Administration pursuant to Federal and State requirements.
• Responsible for scheduling of adequate staff to fulfill the needs of the pharmacy or pharmacy department.
• Implement best practices and ensure department compliance with 340B rules and regulations.
• Maintain all pharmacy records required by state and federal laws and company policies including the bi-annual completion of the Board of Pharmacy Self-assessment.
• Perform supervision, training, coaching, and annual performance evaluations of direct reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Pharmacy; Active California Pharmacist license.
• Supervisory experience preferable.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a practicing pharmacist preferable.
• Bilingual (Spanish English) in reading, writing, and speaking preferable.
• Ability to work well with other people.
