Overview
The Technical Assistant will perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties as well as compile various reports and Financial Statements, and various Account Reconciliations for clients.

Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of : employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.
What You'll Do
Maintain the daily accounting records, accounts payable / receivable for clients.
Prepare weekly / bi-monthly / monthly disbursements via Check(s) / Wire(s) / ACH / Bank Transfer(s) by client.
Responsible for answering phones, preparing deposits for clients, copying, and maintaining files.
Reconcile monthly bank and investment statements.
Assist in preparing periodic Treasurer Reports and Cash Flow Analysis. Prepare files for Annual Budgets and Audits.
Coordinate with the clients, actuaries, auditors, investment advisors, and other internal departments to gather relevant data.
Prepare / maintain all source documents in an orderly fashion that support the conclusions.
Responsible for Pro-Forma preparation of SETECH reports and first draft proofing utilizing check list.
Prepare and submit required filings : State Controller, Department of Managed Health Care, 1099’s etc.
Responsible for Client Contact and interfacing with various Keenan & Associates departments to follow up on accounting issues.
Prepare client contracts and proposals as needed.
Prepare PowerPoint presentations as needed for client meetings and conferences.
All other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
- Successful candidate must have knowledge and understanding of accounting systems and financial reporting.
- Minimum 1-3 years financial accounting work related experience required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Sagitta Accounting System, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks preferred.

Compensation :
The target salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Hybrid work environment flexibility.
