Description : *Looking for a 100% remote Senior Network Admin to join their Network Operations team. Somebody with recent experience in an operational / ticket based role.
The current team of 5 averages around 1,000 tickets a month. SHIFT : 2nd Shift : Tuesday -Saturday 2 : 00pm - 11 : 00pm EST Duties include : -Maintain routers, switches, and internet circuits.
Implement, administer, and troubleshoot WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. Be able to analyze packet traces between devices.
Mostly operational duties. Plan and execute. Maintenance and documentation. Continuous improvement with some automation.
The preferred candidate should have experience in the following : · active CCNA certification · 5+ years work experience · Cisco wireless, routing and switching, Wifi, firewall · Automation scripting cisco tcl and python (would like to see some examples during interview) · DNS we use InfoBlox · F5 load balancers · Management of NTP · ServiceNow ticketing · New builds, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching · Quick response to tech bridges · Vendor management o Circuit orders o Procurement · Inventory maintenance and handling · Cloud networking · Network security · Documentation can review / write clear and comprehensive documentation*Skills : *Network engineering, cisco routers, ccna, F5, Wireless, cisco switches, Firewall, python*Top Skills Details : *Network engineering, cisco routers,ccna,F5,Wireless,cisco switches*Additional Skills & Qualifications : *Team of 4 : - The role will consist of a lot of patching an OS upgrades - 6,000 devices : Large Enterprise experience is - Firewalls are handled by a different team but any experience with firewalls is a plus About TEKsystems : We're partners in transformation.
