Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid CCC credential and school-based experience to serve K-12 students in a Long Beach, CA setting. The position is a contract role for the upcoming school year, starting in Fall 2025 through Spring 2026, providing services to a caseload of approximately 38 students in grades K-12.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students with various communication disabilities across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
  • Evaluate and assess student needs to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement effective communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with district and state requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring.

Qualifications :

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working within K-12 school settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 38 students.

  • Serving students ages K-12 within a public school setting.
  • Schedule :

  • Approximately 26 hours per week
  • Contract for the full 2025-2026 school year.
