Description

We are seeking dedicated Registered Veterinary Technicians to join our Dentistry and Oral Surgery Department. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering top-tier veterinary care to our patients.

Our Dentistry and Oral Surgery team is trained and equipped to handle all kinds of cases including traumatic skull and jaw fractures, prosthetic crowns, orthodontics, oral soft tissue surgery, periodontal diseases, endodontic disease, and tooth restoration.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to critically ill and injured animals.
  • Assisting veterinarians with dental procedures, including, diagnostics, and treatments.
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding promptly to changes in condition.
  • Proficiency in anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery,
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols.
  • Collaborating with other members of the veterinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Qualifications :

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification required.
  • 2-3 years of experience working as a veterinary technician.
  • Proficiency in performing nursing procedures, such as venipuncture, catheterization, and anesthesia monitoring.
  • Experience with dental prophylaxis, radiographs, and various oral surgeries, is highly valued.
  • Interest in advanced imaging modalities such as cone beam CT and their integration within the DOSS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing excellent patient care and client service.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
