CallMiner is looking for a Product Manager with interactive web application or SaaS product management experience to help us to continue to evolve our market leading customer interaction analytics solutions.

Customer interaction analytics or the analysis of both written and verbal conversations between businesses and their customers, is one of the hottest offerings in customer experience management technology.

Through interviews and observation, you will gain an intimate understanding of processes, workflows, objectives, and challenges facing a variety of user types and from this build and prioritize a backlog of industry leading enhancements.

You will create wireframes and work with the UI design team to communicate new product capabilities to developers, executives, and beta customers for rapid feedback, iteration, and implementation.

You will leverage agile approaches and work collaboratively with developers to break the backlog into stories with clearly articulated acceptance criteria, which are then delivered to efficiently and effectively to the market, ahead of our competition.

The Product Manager will manage the entire product lifecycle from kickoff, to launch, leveraging his or her strong communication skills to educate, enroll and evangelize new releases across the entire organization and to the use community.

Primary responsibilities include :

  • Conducting voice of customer research interacting with the user group, customers, and non-customers
  • Identifying / documenting market problems and requirements to solve those problems
  • Using pragmatic methods to prioritize the product backlog, and communicate those priorities across the organization
  • Detailing epics and breaking down stories such that they are development ready
  • Creating wireframes and delivering UI mockups in collaboration with design
  • Managing planning sprints, and sprint review meetings
  • Attending daily standups, review implemented features, providing developer feedback
  • Managing the entire product lifecycle including product launch with support of product marketing
  • Conducting market, industry, and competitive analysis

Requirements

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is a plus).
  • 5-8 years of experience in product management with a strong focus on AI, machine learning, or related technologies.
  • Experience with Generative AI : Familiarity with tools and frameworks like GPT, DALL-E, or similar generative AI technologies.
  • Experience in remote work environments : Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a distributed team.

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of AI and Machine Learning Concepts : Ability to translate complex AI technologies into user-friendly products.
  • Data Analysis & Metrics : Proficiency in using data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) to drive product decisions.
  • API Management : Experience with APIs, particularly those related to AI and machine learning models.
  • Product Lifecycle Management : Proven experience in taking products from concept to launch, with an emphasis on iterative development and user feedback.

Product Management Skills

  • Roadmap Development & Prioritization : Ability to develop and manage a product roadmap, balancing short-term needs with long-term vision.
  • User-centered Design : Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and ability to collaborate with UX / UI designers to create intuitive products.
  • Agile Methodologies : Experience with Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, and user story creation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Strong ability to work with engineering, data science, marketing, and sales teams to deliver product features.

Communication & Leadership

  • Stakeholder Management : Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including executives, customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-Focused Mindset : Passionate about understanding and solving customer problems, with a strong ability to gather and synthesize customer feedback.
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills : Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Strategic & Analytical Thinking

  • Market Analysis : Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.
  • Business Acumen : Strong understanding of the business implications of AI technologies, including potential revenue streams, cost implications, and scalability.

Soft Skills

  • Adaptability & Flexibility : Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with evolving priorities.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical solutions.
  • Proactive & Self-Motivated : Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI / ML Ops : Knowledge of operationalizing AI / ML models in production environments.
  • Certifications in AI or Product Management : Such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or AI / ML certifications.
  • Familiarity with Ethical AI Practices : Understanding of ethical considerations and best practices in AI development.
