Job Description As a Clinical Nurse Consultant within our esteemed North Carolina communities, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional clinical care standards are upheld.

Your responsibilities will encompass a range of clinical duties including resident assessments, infection control training, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will serve as a leader in staff education and competency validation, ensuring that our team is well-equipped to deliver exemplary care to our residents.

Clinical Oversight : Implement and monitor infection control practices to foster a healthy environment.Conduct thorough resident assessments Perform medication pass observations in adherence to regulatory standards.

Validate competency for all care staff involved in resident care.Administer and interpret tuberculin skin testing as mandated.

Provide ongoing oversight and certification for medication aide training, ensuring compliance with state regulations.Monitor completion of E-learning modules and other training requirements for staff.

Training and Education : Conduct staff training sessions for Med Aides, Personal Care Assistants, and other essential training as required.

Conduct competency assessments per regulatory guidelines.Offer support and skill checks to assure competency of personal care staff.

Deliver additional training and in-services relevant to resident care within the scope of practice Qualifications : Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of North Carolina.

Strong understanding of infection control practices and regulatory requirements.Experience in conducting resident assessments Ability to conduct training sessions and validate staff competencies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to upholding clinical excellence and ensuring resident satisfaction.
