Job Details
- Specialty : Registered Nurse
- RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.
- Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
- Minimum Years of Experience : 2
- Traveler Experience : Not required
- Skills : Telemetry AND PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required.
Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, Pre / Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line / care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience
- Ratios : 1 : 6-7
- Shift : NIGHT 3x12-Hour 36 or 48 hours
- Will accept 13-26 week contracts!
- Float Requirement : Yes required
- Weekend Requirement : 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)
- Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
- Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
- Patient Diagnoses : Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath
- Special Procedures / Unit Details : Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc.
Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop
- Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication) : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
- Scheduling Type : Self
- Unit Orientation : 24 hours
