Vehicle Propulsion Systems Engineering Calibration organization is looking for highly motivated, qualified, and experienced engine calibration engineers to develop drivability, tailpipe emissions, and OBD attributes across internal combustion and hybrid powertrain programs.

What you'll do... Develop powertrain calibrations for internal combustion and hybrid electric powertrains that meet all program requirements including drivability, performance, emissions, fuel economy, functional safety, and diagnostics.
Design and conduct testing to validate powertrain and vehicle attributes. Analyze and present summarized data collected in vehicle to validate and document powertrain calibrations.
Conduct in-vehicle / lab / simulation testing and development in S.E. Michigan. Position is onsite in Dearborn, Michigan May also conduct in-vehicle testing and development at various test sites including Arizona, Colorado, and Northern Michigan (8 week / year)
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Excellent teamwork and communication skills 2+ years of experience in Powertrain Calibration delivering drivability, emissions, or OBD.
1+ years of experience with one more of the following software tools : ETAS, ATI, or MATLAB. Valid Driver’s License required
2+ years of engine / hybrid electric vehicle calibration delivering drivability, tailpipe emissions, or OBD attributes. Powertrain calibration data acquisition and data analysis.
