What would you do as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
As a new Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Alternative Services - Oregon, Inc., you can expect to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities and routines.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, implementing individualized care plans, and promoting community engagement and socialization.
In this swing shift position, you will work during the afternoons and evenings to ensure the well-being and safety of the individuals in our care.
Expect to collaborate with a supportive team, attend training sessions, and participate in activities that enrich the lives of those we serve.

Are you the Direct Support Professional (DSP) we're looking for?
To excel as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Alternative Services - Oregon, Inc., strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature will help you build meaningful relationships with individuals with developmental disabilities and provide person-centered care.
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to adapt to changing situations are also key traits for success in this role.
A willingness to learn, collaborate with a diverse team, and follow individualized care plans is crucial. Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is beneficial but not required;
