Job Overview :

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer with extensive experience in full-stack JavaScript development, including React and Angular, as well as proficiency in Golang, Java, and SQL.

The ideal candidate will have a strong architectural mindset and the ability to design and implement scalable, robust solutions.

This role is pivotal in driving the evolution of our platform, contributing to both front-end and back-end development, and ensuring seamless integration across our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions using React, Angular, Golang, and Java.
• Assist in the architectural design and implementation of new features and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the stack.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
• Participate in the migration of our platform from Angular to React, focusing on a mobile-first approach and atomic design principles.
• Contribute to server-side rendering and performance optimization initiatives.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in full-stack JavaScript development, with experience in React and Angular.
• Proficiency in Java, with a solid understanding of the ecosystem and best practices.
• Proven experience in software architecture and design, particularly in large-scale, high-traffic applications.
• Familiarity with modern development practices, including CI / CD, automated testing, and DevOps principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience developing in GO with understanding of the ecosystem and best practices is a bonus.
• Prior experience in the hospitality or airline industry is a bonus.
