The salary range is $109,000 - $134,000 per year based on years of experience.
We have an exceptional opportunity for a mission driven operations leader with a passion for high standards in healthcare services in a fast-paced setting at The Village at Orchard Ridge.
We currently have 20 beds in our Health Center and 47 in our assisted living neighborhood. This size and ratio truly allows the team to focus on person centered care led by the Director of Nursing and Healthcare Administrator.
The Director of Nursing (DON) is multifaceted to promote and include a focus on resident’s quality of life services while ensuring optimal quality of care is delivered to each resident.
The DON role will entail working at an extremely fast pace and will require working cooperatively with and through people in order to complete tasks and will be integral in motivating others.
Decisions will many times have to be made under pressure and details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently.
This job will involve controlling all aspects of nursing strategies and implementation, from the initiation, through the process and through to completion.
That will include a focus on person centered care and training others.
Requirements
You will need an active RN license, 10 years of experience in Nursing and 4 years of supervision or management experience.
You will need a strong sense of urgency, initiative, and drive to get things done correctly, with emphasis on working with and through others.
You will need a willingness to jump in, roll up your sleeves and help out when necessary and lead by example. Strong follow-up and attention to details are a must.
A degree in Nursing is required; Master's Degree preferred.
