Job Title : Senior Litigation Associate / Senior Trial Associate
Location : 100% REMOTE
Salary : $150k-$200k / yr DOE
Required Experience : At least 6 years of insurance defense / general liability litigation (or similar), 1st chair trial experience desired but not mandatory, and must be licensed to practice law in Texas (must be in good standing).
Position Overview
We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with expertise in insurance defense and general liability. The ideal candidate will represent clients in various litigation matters, providing legal counsel and ensuring the best possible outcomes in disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court proceedings and litigation cases.
- Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve favorable results for clients.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting litigation and insurance defense.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation, preferably in insurance defense and general liability.
- Strong knowledge of civil procedures and litigation processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in legal research and case management software.
