Human Resources Manager
Talent Acquisition Resources, Inc. is a boutique executive search firm that is assisting a best in class manufacturing Client located near Charleston in filling a Plant HR Manager role.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Position will partner with the leadership team in translating business strategy into HR actions that drive business results.
- Position will require application of broad knowledge of HR and hands-on expertise with demonstrated results in several of the following functions / HR processes : Development and implement tactics to execute HR strategies that achieve the overall business strategy;
- LR / ER; Talent Acquisition and Talent Management; Performance Management; Training and Development; Change management, continuous improvement, organizational effectiveness and organizational development;
Effective strategic communications; Compliance issues such as EEO / AAP, FLSA and FMLA.
Qualifications include, but are limited to :
- Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s preferred
- HR Certification(s) preferred, e.g. - PHR
- 10+ years progressive HR generalist experience in a manufacturing setting
- 5+ years of day to day labor relations experience
- Strong business partnering skills
- Experience in Recruiting
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Team Player
- Strong employee engagement capabilities
- Program / project management skills and problem solving
- Ability to work independently and drive results
- Excellent PC skills (Microsoft programs (Word / Excel / Power Point)
- Occasional travel in support of another Client plant(s).
