Optometrist | $25k Signing Bonus for FT - Columbus, NE

An amazing Optometrist is being sought to join this physician-owned optometry and ophthalmology practice. No previous experience is required, so new grads are welcome to apply; however, candidates must hold a Doctor of Optometry degree and possess a valid license to practice in Nebraska. This opening has arisen due to a recent retirement, and patients are eagerly awaiting a new provider. A signing bonus of $25,000 is offered for the full-time position, and part-time candidates will also receive a signing bonus.

Position Details

• Full-time position guarantee : $175,000
• Opportunity to earn well over the $175,000 base pay with 20% of collections in this established practice.
• Part-time positions will come with a proportionate guarantee.
• Signing bonus of $25,000 for the full-time position, with part-time candidates also receiving a bonus.

The Optometrist will enjoy a strong collaborative relationship with the surgeons, as the practice's goal is to provide comprehensive family eye care, including routine and medical eye care, supported by both internal ophthalmology and strategic external partners. Staff assistance is available, including front office staff, technicians, optical staff, and a billing team. Equipment may vary slightly at each location, and further specifics can be provided to candidates as necessary.

Practice Environment

Both full-time and part-time hours are available within the practice. The two primary locations in Columbus and Norfolk each have populations of around 25,000. Columbus, located an hour west of Omaha, will be the main location for the selected candidate.
