Countryside Veterinary Center in Countryside, IL is looking for a Certified Veterinary Rehabilitation Technician (CCRVN, CCRA or CCRP) to join our amazing TEAM!

It’s us. We are an efficient 6 DVM non-appointment practice in a paper-light full-service hospital that also offers boarding, grooming, daycare, and rehab services.

Our hospital offers a variety of services including diagnostic imaging, a full diagnostic laboratory, dental prophylaxis, soft tissue & orthopedic surgeries, wellness & preventative care.

Our rehabilitation department is equipped with therapeutic laser, electric stimulation, underwater treadmill, therapeutic exercise equipment, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and much more!

As a Countryside Veterinary Center Rehabilitation Technician , you will :

• Work under the supervision of our Rehab Veterinarian to perform and implement the designated rehabilitation therapy plan.
• Perform rehab appointments including underwater treadmill, laser, and therapeutic exercises on dogs, cats, and ferrets.
• Test water chemical levels for underwater treadmill and assist with daily / weekly / monthly cleaning and maintenance as needed.
• Communicate with rehab clients regarding patients and schedule upcoming appointments. Educate clients and teach exercises to be performed at home with patients.
• BEST of both worlds! Our rehabilitation technicians also support other aspects of the hospital, so your skills will remain sharp!

Veterinary Technicians play an integral role in our hospital. Our wonderful Exam Room Assistants get histories, fill medications, prepare vaccines, etc.

So, you can fully utilize your tech skillset and continue to develop your knowledge for years to come! We are looking for a compassionate technician who is ready to put their skills and leadership ability to work!

Our Ideal Candidate :

• Holds a current certification in Rehab (CCRVN, CCRA, or CCRP) and Illinois Certified Veterinary Technician license
• Ability to execute treatment orders as directed by a DVM, including tasks such as placing IV catheters, venipuncture, surgical prep / monitor / recovery, perform dental cleanings and dental radiographs, etc.
• Client communication, excellent customer service
• Motivated, Positive, TEAM Player
• Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Anticipated Schedule :

Full Time, rotating schedule monthly (two 12-hour shifts and two 6-hour shifts)

Compensation :

Here at Countryside Veterinary Center, we don’t believe in a standard starting rate of pay, we believe that each team member should be compensated taking into account their knowledge, skills, and experiences.
