Description
The role of the Administrative Assistant is to support CHD and DYS casework staff in managing various clerical functions for a community program.
This includes acting as a telephone and in-person receptionist for one of the sites, and maintaining a petty cash account for youth related expenses, processing and accounting for financial vouchers, entering client information into an electronic database and maintaining notes of service team meetings.
Requirements
Knowledge of the Massachusetts juvenile justice system, a high school diploma or equivalent, good communication and computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office applications competently.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with people of all backgrounds; a valid driver’s license, and reliable vehicle are required.
Bilingual (Spanish / English) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
