We are in search of a Project Manager / Sr. Consultant to join our team in Deer Park, Texas. In this role, you will be overseeing various projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

This job is a long-term contract role in the IT industry, with a focus on IT project management.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and oversee project plans, budgets, timelines, and resources with a focus on implementing Coupa.
  • Monitor the progress of projects, identifying and managing any risks, issues, or changes that may arise.
  • Lead project meetings and facilitate communication with both internal staff and external vendors.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management.
  • Oversee project financials and ensure they are regularly updated and accurate.
  • Create and review Project Business Cases & ROIs (return on investments).
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct evaluations after the conclusion of projects to assess their success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide on-site leadership and oversight to the project team on a hybrid remote basis.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management or senior consultant role, preferably within the IT sector.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using Coupa software for business spend management.
  • Have a solid understanding of IT project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Show evidence of excellent leadership skills, including the ability to manage teams and oversee complex projects.
  • Display strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in IT, business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Show evidence of strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Be able to work independently and make decisions under pressure, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of project management and IT.
