AppleTree Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in Indianapolis.

This role involves performing essential machine maintenance, equipment repairs, and tool installation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and the ability to work independently to support production operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Installation and Servicing : Install, service, and maintain production equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Maintenance and Repairs : Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, including preventative maintenance (PMs).
• Lockout / Tagout Procedures : Effectively execute lockout / tagout procedures to ensure safety during maintenance and repair activities.
• Tool Handling : Install, verify, adjust, and remove production tools as required.
• Machining and Fabrication : Conduct machining, welding, and fabrication to produce replacement parts and keep equipment functioning.
• Blueprints and Schematics : Interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work instructions to perform tasks accurately.
• Troubleshooting : Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues within production equipment.
• Test Equipment : Design and construct test equipment as needed to ensure the operational efficiency of machines.
• Independent Work : Capable of working independently without direct supervision.
• Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Education & Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Associate's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

Skills Required :

• Language Skills : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents. Respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.
• Mathematical Skills : Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them effectively to work tasks.
• Reasoning : Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions.
• Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
