Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cloud Application Developer (ServiceNow) to support a classified Intelligence program in Chantilly, VA.
The team is seeking a software engineering professional who is familiar with SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow, to assist with the expansion of workflows and backend applications for the agencies CSOC analysis cell.
Clearance : Active TS / SCI CI Polygraph Clearance
Location : Chantilly, VA
Responsibilities of the Application Developer :
- Write production backend applications
- Ship and run services in cloud environments, with a focus on AWS
- Follow best practices for securing cloud services
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems
- Identifies and implements best-practice solutions to address client requirements
- Performs operational support of custom development and 3rd party integrations
- Performs unit-testing and resolves code defects
- Assists with technical design and documentation
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions that support business requirements
Qualifications of the Application Developer :
- Active TS / SCI CI Polygraph required to be considered
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 7+ years of software engineering experience
- IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification required
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash, JavaScript)
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL / CentOS / Debian) and its fundamentals
- Experience with SaaS applications such as ServiceNow
- Experience with microservice architecture and orchestration tools (Kubernetes / ECS)
Compensation of the Application Developer :
- Total compensation based on experience level - $140,000 - $175,000+ based on experience level
