CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to execute dishes according to recipes and build guides
- Prepare various food items by cutting vegetables, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces and marinades
- Carrying out cleaning, restocking, organizing and generally supporting in the maintenance of the kitchen
- Comfortable working across different stations in the kitchen, or displaying a willingness to learn and cross-train
- Learn key components of each dish and be able to communicate to customers to explain the business model and the food
REQUIREMENTS
- Positive attitude and collaborative with other team members to get things done
- Previous cooking experience (however, training is provided as part of onboarding)
- Ability to jump into a fast-paced culinary environment
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving
- Openness to feedback as a tool for personal development
- Flexibility to work most shifts
- The ability to perform physical requirements of the position (frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds).
