About The Position
Job Title : Mental Health Coordinator Job Specialty : LPC, LCSW, LMFT Job Duration : 12 weeks initial duration Shift : Days Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Five (5) years of clinical experience, including two (2) years in a comparable position License : Must possess appropriate LPC, LCSW, LMFT certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs.
Certifications : ICE Clearance required (estimated to take 4-6+ weeks currently); US Citizenship required for clearance.
Must-Have : Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical area.
Minimum age requirement of 18 years. Valid driver's license preferred unless required by contract or applicable statute.
Job Description : Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on a review of available records and clinical interviews with individuals in care.
- Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
- Document treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each person seen.- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques through treatments and activities.- Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address needs.
