Job Description : We are looking for a mitted Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Ridgefield, CT.
This position offers the chance to work within a dynamic school environment, providing essential speech therapy services to students with diverse needs.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of speech disorders and a proven track record of delivering effective speech therapy interventions.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and treat students with speech, language, munication, and swallowing disorders.
- Design and implement prehensive treatment plans to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to integrate speech therapy techniques at school and home.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and goals.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Connecticut.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively municate with students, staff, and parents.
