Quality Control Technician
Santa Fe Springs, CA
1st shift, M-F (5a-4p)
Position Overview
Conducts all necessary testing analysis to ensure specifications are met prior to product release by performing the following duties.
Job Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Performs required sample analysis; collection, prepping, assembly.
2. Completes data entry of test results and maintain records.
3. Respond to quality questions from customers and handle quality issues from supervisors and operators.
4. Operates laboratory equipment; both manual and automatic.
5. Processes incoming samples and assists in processing outgoing samples.
6. Performs office functions to include documentation and filing samples to quality control.
7. Maintains general housekeeping of laboratory.
8. Conduct internal audits.
9. Assure the conformance of testing equipment certifications to ISO standards.
10. Create corrective action documentation and communicate to customer.
11. Assist Quality Manager with preparation for external audits in accordance with AS9100 Standards.
12. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated person.

Education Requirements
HS Diploma / Equivalent
One to two years related quality experience and / or training; preferably within Aerospace (AS9100 Standard)
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel and quality control software.
