A law firm based in Knoxville is seeking a Tax Associate Attorney or Of Counsel to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building the existing tax practice, with significant client interaction and the opportunity to transition into a leadership position in the long term.

Duties :
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in matters related to tax planning, estate planning, and wealth management.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases and advise on complex tax issues.
- Draft legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning instruments.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to develop comprehensive tax strategies for clients.
- Handle negotiations, settlements, and litigation proceedings related to tax disputes and estate matters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide informed guidance to clients.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctorate or higher degree in Law from an accredited institution.
- Admission to the State Bar and in good standing with relevant jurisdictions.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing in the field of estate planning, tax law, or related areas.
- Proven track record of success in handling complex tax matters and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
