Nemours is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Allergy & Immunology team in Lake Mary, Florida! This position will also rotate to our Downtown Orlando and Lake Nona locations.
This position is responsible for providing care for pediatric patients, including interview of patients, obtain and record health histories, complete physical and developmental assessments, diagnose health problems, provide health care teaching and counseling, manage the health care of those patients for which he / she has been educated, initiate referrals and maintain health records in the outpatient setting.
This APP has a critical role connecting patients and their families to the care they need as a part of a collegial interprofessional team that takes pride in excellent patient outcomes and teaching.
Requirements :
- Must have current APRN or PA license in good standing; Pediatric Acute Care or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification preferred
- Current AHA BLS certification upon hire
- Minimum of two years Pediatric experience required
- Pediatric Advanced Practice experience preferred; New graduate APRNs will be considered for this position
- Prior experience in pulmonology or allergy / immunology preferred
