About The Position
An inpatient facility is seeking an adult psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
Relax on the sandy shores of Virginia Beach or explore the boardwalk with its shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
Visit the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center or take a dolphin-watching cruise.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with one weekend per month. The role involves treating adult patients and requires a VA license.
Dates Needed : ASAP - 3 months with option to extend
Call Ratio / Schedule : 1 weekend per month
Case Load / PPD : 15-18
Shift Type : Day Shift; Call
Assignment Type : Inpatient
Assignment Duration : Locums
Shift Hours : Full time (40 hours)
Cases Treated : Wide range of cases such as high acuity, mood disorders, depression, etc.
Average Length of Stay (IP) : 5-7 days

Support Staff : multiple psychiatrists, and 3 addiction physicians
