The Abdominal Radiologist will work with the Division Chief to support the clinical, education, and research missions of the section and the department as we seek to improve health and patient care throughout Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Abdominal Imaging division is a subspecialized, dynamic group that interprets abdominal / pelvic radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
The Abdominal Radiologist in this role will have dedicated academic time and the formal mentorship of highly-experienced radiologists.
Facilities and equipment are state-of-the-art and include : n* A first-of-its-kind 3.0 Tesla MRI with ultrafast MR imaging informed by deep learning (AI) reconstructions, an additional 3.
0 Tesla magnet, and a new 1.5 Tesla MR
Two dual-source, dual-energy Siemens Force CT scanners* One AS 64 with an IR guidance package nThe ideal candidate will provide high-quality clinical service, be actively engaged in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, and participate in quality improvement and / or value initiatives.
Interests in research or scholarly interdepartmental collaborations are encouraged and supported by institutional resources, mentorship, and academic time.
